Peace in the conditioned world

I hear you. I’ve been there.
Years ago, I found myself depleted, burnt out, depressed saying “all I want is Peace”. I had been looking outside of myself for the answer. New job, new relationships, new home. Looking for those “things” that would make me happy.
I was so disconnected. I was looking for everything elsewhere, I never thought about looking at me. Was there even a me? Physically there was – with a body that didn’t match the TV ads for sure. And there was a mind full of thoughts that kept me in a place of busyness and anxiety. That was it!
Where was I?
My journey took me on that old cliché – finding myself!
I reconnected to my soul, my purpose, my joys. It made me aware of how I was disconnected to my body. I realized that I spent most of my life up to that point outside my body. It was my coping mechanism to deal with the pain.
So much of what I have learned is foundational to BEing a human. And yet none of this is taught, despite extensive ‘education’.
In the last couple of decades, people are starting to talk about it. Science is uncovering new findings related to our mind, our thoughts, how they affect our physiology, energy, how it plays a key part in who we think we are and how to clean and manage our own energy so we can align with who we really are.
And through the work, the research, the teachings, the training, called ‘my journey’, I found PEACE among other great gifts.
Happiness is a state. A state within ourselves.
